Dr. Luisa Bravo
Dr. Luisa Bravo is a public space scholar, cultural entrepreneur, and academic with over 20 years of international experience in teaching, research, and advocacy. She is Adjunct Professor in Urban Design at the University of Florence and founder of City Space Architecture (2013), a non-profit that has become a UN-Habitat partner and a member of the World Economic Forum's Davos Baukultur Alliance.
Her work bridges academia, practice, and activism through initiatives such as The Journal of Public Space (the first open-access journal dedicated to public space), the Public Space Academy, and the Public Space Museum. She has curated conferences, workshops, and exhibitions worldwide, promoting public space culture and citizen engagement.
Dr. Bravo has spoken at major international forums including Habitat III (Quito, 2016), multiple World Urban Forums (2018–2024), and UN high-level meetings in New York. She is actively engaged with European and global institutions as an expert evaluator and advisor, contributing to programs such as Horizon Europe, EIT Culture & Creativity, and the Global Platform for the Right to the City.
MSc. Luca De Stefano
MSc. Luca De Stefano is an architect and urban strategist from Rome, Italy, with a career built across Spain and the Netherlands. His work combines spatial design and technology with a strong focus on sustainable mobility and climate resilience.
From 2016 to 2019, he worked at FABRICations, specializing in sustainable urban living, water management, and cycling infrastructure, and serving as Junior Project Leader on projects such as the İzmir Cycling Scan (Turkey), Water as Leverage (Southeast Asia), and the Dutch National Strategy on Spatial Planning.
Since 2019, Luca has been with MLA+, coordinating projects in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East that span large-scale urban expansion, river regeneration, coastal defence, and resilient public space. He also managed research projects for the 2022 Rotterdam Architecture Biennial (IABR) and leads MLA+'s digital innovation agenda, developing GIS tools and AI agents for climate action.
In parallel, Luca directs Non Architecture (Non-a), an online platform that connects over 10,000 design professionals worldwide through competitions, training, and EU-funded projects advancing the SDGs. He was a RISE Cities Fellow with the BMW Foundation (2022–23), a research fellow with Roma Tre University under the INTREPID-COST action (2018), and currently serves as an expert assessor for the European Urban Innovation Initiative (EUI) of the European Commission.
Mohamed Morsi Hassan
MSc. Mohamed Hassan is an experienced urban planner and business development strategist with extensive expertise in urban design, architecture, and community-focused planning. He has led multidisciplinary teams of designers, planners, and architects across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, coordinating complex projects under tight timelines.
In Europe, Mohamed has contributed to flagship urban development projects in Dutch cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zwolle, Assen, Leiden, and Amstelveen. His work spans from strategic planning to detailed design, with a strong emphasis on sustainable and circular city planning, demographic analysis, and land research.
Committed to sustainability and community engagement, Mohamed develops eco-friendly initiatives that promote resilience and reduce carbon footprints, while actively collaborating with local partners and stakeholders to ensure projects reflect community needs and aspirations.
