Abdulwahab Alalyani is a researcher and urban planning specialist with expertise in public green spaces, urban livability, and sustainable development. His research on sustainable urban development in Saudi Arabia's small and medium-sized cities focuses on planning strategies, infrastructure needs, and policy directions that enhance livability and resilience across secondary urban areas.
He has led and contributed to several published studies on the distribution and accessibility of public green spaces in Saudi cities, the spatial analysis of green infrastructure in Riyadh, and the evaluation of urban parks from the perspectives of users, experts, and decision-makers. His current research explores the strategic role of natural opportunities-such as scenic views and environmental assets-in shaping urban policy and tourism development in Saudi cities.
His work supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by advancing balanced urban growth, environmental stewardship, and inclusive, people-centered planning for improved quality of life.

Natali Ghawi is a holistic Architect, Urban Planner, and Regenerative Wellbeing Coach and consultant. She designs inner and outer landscapes to support the well-being of all life. As founder of NABAD Consulting, she integrates systems thinking and embodied practice to co-create regenerative, resilient futures. Natali holds degrees from the University of Toronto, UCLA, Reykjavik University and Harvard University, and is WELL AP, LFA, Fitwel Ambassador, EDGE Expert, and Envision SP.
Priyanka Purohit, India
Priyanka Purohit is an urban and regional planner with a postgraduation from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT University) and is a member of the Institute of Town Planners, India (ITPI). She has over nine years of experience in urban planning and development consultancies, working on public and private sector projects as a Senior Consultant. She leads Urban Innovation and Partnerships at FutureFront, an emerging urban network. Her expertise spans statutory urban planning, regional development corridors, urban policy formulation, spatial resilience, and Smart City initiatives. Priyanka brings a deep understanding of the Indian planning system and a strong foundation in applied research. Her work focuses on addressing compounded risks in high-density urban environments-such as Mumbai-through integrated planning approaches.
Yasmein Okour, Jordan
Yasmein Okour is an assistant professor and chair of the Department of City Planning and Design at Jordan University of Science and Technology. She holds a Ph.D. in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo, USA, a master's degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arizona, USA, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Jordan University of Science and Technology, Jordan. Her research focuses on two main areas: (1) urban planning R&D frameworks and knowledge production in the Arab region, and (2) municipal environmental planning processes in Jordan, with a focus on urban resilience and municipal climate action.
